I washed my car the other day and all we had in the garage for tires was ArmorAll, so I just used that. I cleaned the tires and rims first, dried them off, and then sprayed ArmorAll on it (they were pretty dirty cause my neighbor is doing construction on his house and often I have to go over the curbs to get to my place). I just want them to look black.

The detailing shop I work at does it all the time, so I guess I can declare it safe.

It's fine on the tires, but the thing about spray on tire cleaners is that it's hard to keep the overspray from getting on the brakes. I don't know if that'll ruin the brakes with repeated exposure, but it's unsafe to drive with until it wears off.

it wont last long. Scrub them with bleche white and hit them with some tire black. Advance auto had a sale this week, 2.99 for a bottle of armor all tire black. Grabbed a few at that price
